Studio 100 International has been named "International Studio of the Year" at the Hall of Fame Awards Gala during the World Animation Summit last night in Hollywood, California. The award recognizes the company’s outstanding creative achievements and its continued global momentum as a leading independent player in the animation industry.

The World Animation Summit brings together creative and business leaders from across the global animation community to celebrate artistry, innovation, and the people shaping the medium’s future.

Accepting the award on behalf of Studio 100 International, CEO Martin Krieger underscored the company’s independent spirit and its commitment to building stories and brands with clarity, purpose, and an independent creative voice.

We are truly honored to receive this award,” said Krieger. “We believe great stories can come from anywhere — and we’re proud to showcase what a European independent can bring to the global stage. This recognition belongs to our artists, producers, and the entire Studio 100 team — alongside our partner studios — who bring authenticity, humor, and heart to everything we create.

A Growing Slate of Family-Driven IPs

Studio 100 International manages a broad portfolio of established brands, including Maya the Bee, Mia and me, Heidi, 100% Wolf, and the live-action IP House of Anubis. Looking ahead, the company is expanding its animation slate with new feature films including Arnie & Barnie, On the Edge, and Halloween vs. Day of the Dead. On the series side, the studio is developing Jungle Book – Cub Club Adventures, the original IP Ash, and the stylized new project WE R SNKRZ.

Independent Roots, Global Partnerships

We’ve cultivated a creative ecosystem where strong ideas can emerge from anywhere — and together we shape them into stories and brands with a clear voice, global ambition, and an independent mindset,” said Krieger.

Alongside its own production house, Studio Isar Animation, Studio 100 International collaborates with a select roster of long-standing creative partners — including 3Doubles Producciones, Able & Baker, Bigchild, Cheeky Little Media, Flying Bark, Gaumont, Gigglebug, On The Edge Animation, and Telegael — complemented by additional talent across Europe and beyond. These partnerships reinforce the studio’s independent model, combining shared craftsmanship and global expertise while keeping its creative identity firmly at the center.

The company is also expanding its selective use of new technologies, including AI-supported tools, to enhance creative and production workflows — always with a focus on empowering artists and elevating the storytelling experience.

Presented annually by Animation Magazine, the Hall of Fame Awards honor excellence, innovation, and long-standing creative leadership within the global animation industry.
