Hot on the heels of this summer’s smash hit Superman, Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products (WBDGCP) is powering up the Superman family with new licensing opportunities.

DC Studios’ Superman film delivered a true success story at the box office and at retail that was enjoyed by all audiences and ages. With more than 500 global partners and 4,500 SKUs, Superman’s return to the big screen spanned every category from toys and fashion to home and pets - proving once again the brand’s enduring cultural and commercial strength.

That momentum now extends across the slate. Supergirl will take flight in June 2026, bringing big screen appeal with a rebellious edge and major resonance for women and girls, while still engaging dads, lads and kidults. In July 2027, Man of Tomorrow continues the Superman saga, keeping the world’s most iconic Super Hero firmly at the centre of the DC Universe. Building on his breakout role in Superman, fan-favourite Krypto the Superdog is already headlining his own animated short series, Krypto Saves The Day, on the DC Kids YouTube channel.

When a film resonates and becomes a cultural moment, it’s not just a box office win - it elevates a brand,”says Philippe Roucoule, Senior Vice President of EMEA Consumer Products, Warner Bros. Discovery “Superman reaffirmed how much audiences love the character, and now we’re excited to extend that universe with Supergirl, Krypto and beyond.

WBDGCP promised bold global activations with localised flavour, designed to match the tone and audience of each new release. With Superman thriving across generations and the Superman family expanding, the stage is set for mass appeal and fresh commercial opportunities worldwide.
