Bount has been granted the right to produce Barcode Kitties™ Bedding Sets (including bedding sets for babies), Polar Fleece Blankets (including polar fleece blanket for babies), Decorative Pillows, Bath Robes for babies, Beach Towels, Hooded Towels for babies, and Cotton Quilts (including quilts for babies). Under the deal, which was brokered by Plus Licens as appointed sub-agent for the adorable Barcode Kitties™ brand in Eastern Europe as well as the Nordic Countries, Bount has the right to market and distribute these Barcode Kitties™ licensed products through Department stores, Mass market stores, Specialty stores, Supermarkets/Food stores, Wholesalers, and Bount’s own shops in Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia, Herzegovina, Macedonia and Montenegro.

Barcode Kitties is an adorable anime-influenced property starring a group of cute little kitten characters with bar code whiskers. Owned by Nagoya-based SEIKODO Corporation, the original idea for the Barcode Kitties characters grew out of the realization that every product sold in the world – theoretically including the animals sold in pet shops – would need to have a bar code. That realization was eventually expressed through the idea of a special species of cartoon cats with bar codes as their whiskers.
