Australian publisher, Ice Water Press (IWP), have also launched a range of FABric Animals™ story, sticker and activity books in 2010 and the reaction to the range has been fantastic. IWP are in the process of expanding the range which will include two new padded board books – “ABC Puppy Learns the Alphabet!” and “Shapes – Kitten Makes A Wish.” IWP used Bang on the Door’s design team to create the first five books ensuring that the styling and appeal was perfect. Also in Australia, licensee Jasnor who are currently selling FABric Animals stationery, are working closely with Bang on the Door to design FABric Animals™ toys – a Learning Stackable Box Set has already been developed. Bang on the Door Director Karen Duncan says, “We are delighted to be working with Kinnerton again at this exciting stage of development and growth for FABric Animals. We’ve been working with Kinnerton since 2002 and are over the moon to be bringing them on board with FABric Animals.” FABric Animals 25 licensees currently using the FABric Animals™ brand. Bang on the Door’s FABric Animals™ brand is going from strength to strength, and has been a major success story for the company. In the UK, Next are about to release FABric Animals™ kids clothing. Worldwide, FABric Animals stationery sales are gaining momentum, with licensees reporting sales of 1.2 million in UK, Brazil and Europe in the last quarter. The FABric Animals brand is now expanding on to other product ranges such as cards, bags and apparel. Bang on the Door’s Managing Director, Karen Duncan, is very excited about the success of this new brand. “We see the market for FABric Animals™ crossing a number of age ranges. For example, where the IWP books work really well for younger kids, at the same time stationery appeals to the older consumer.” This is a very exciting time for Bang on the Door. |
