From the newest “Suckers”, “Canimals”, “Kambu” and “Zookaboo” to classics such as “David, The Gnome” which this year celebrates its 25th birthday

The BRB Internacional series are set to attend next week the coming edition of DISCOP. In Budapest, the company’s latest creations -- Suckers, Canimals, Kambu and Zookaboo – will share the billing with great BRB classics, such as David, The Gnome, which is celebrating its 25th birthday this year.

Regarding the newest productions, Suckers (104 x 2’), done in 3D Hi-Def, gives us a friendly look at life itself through the eyes of car window figures. It is currently enjoying great succes on Disney XD, both in the USA and throughout Europe. Meanwhile, some very mischievous can-shaped pixies are the stars of Canimals (52 x 7’), a series that integrates animation and real-life film images. An agreement between Samsung Electronic and VOOZCLUB has just been reached that will launch a webgame on Facebook and serveral others for mobile phones starting at the beginning of next year.

And BRB will also show at DISCOP the first few episodes of both Kambu (52 x 7’), which is based on a new maildog living on a mysterious island who is all heart, tenderness… and a total calamity, and Zookaboo (104 x 2’), consisting of a hundred or so fun-filled and original guessing episodes about animals that hide inside a box. BRB Internacional has a strong presence in both Central and Eastern Europe. In fact, the series Bernard has just been acquired by various channels such as HBO –for several countries- or 2x2 –which has recently acquired Suckers too, for Russia-. Likewise, BRB’s classic shows continues to find a successful place in the schedules of public TV channels across the area, such as Czech Television or Slovak Television.

In the words of Nuria Queipo, Head of Sales at BRB for Central and Eastern Europe: “We’re heading to DISCOP stronger than ever this year. Since the last edition we have signed some 50 different new contracts with broadcasters covering this market, and now we also have very good prospectives vis-à-vis our three new series in 3D stereoscopic -- Kambu, Zookaboo and Canimals.”
