Jumbo put the Final Pieces together with two Key Product Launches for Toy Fair 2010

Jumbo Games - January 2010

The puzzle and games specialist launch Jo Jo an infant electronic range and Grow with Jumbo generic puzzle range

Jumbo Games, one of the leading manufacturers of children’s puzzles and games in the UK, is proud to announce two significant product developments to be unveiled at Toy Fair 2010 (Stand E40). Jumbo will continue to strengthen their position in the children’s puzzle market with a new generic puzzle range, Grow with Jumbo, aimed at children aged up to 6 and will also launch the innovative Jo Jo infant electronic range which combines traditional play with new technology to create toys with sophisticated interactive qualities.

Showcasing for the first time at Toy Fair 2010, Jo Jo is a new innovative and interactive infant electronic range which includes Follow Me Bunny (SRP £34.99) and hero product Hide and Seek Jo Jo (SRP £39.99). Aimed at children aged over 18 months, Hide and Seek Jo Jo plays realistically with children and features voice customisation and sound effects. The loveable rabbit can record a child’s name and, if it becomes separated, will stand still and call out their name. The Jo Jo Car and Submarine are also offered as part of the range at less than £20 SRP. Jumbo has secured strong retail distribution for the Jo Jo range and the Autumn/Winter 2010 in store launch will be accompanied by a comprehensive TV advertising, marketing and PR campaign.

Toy Fair will also see the launch of Jumbo’s new fun and educational children’s puzzle range, Grow with Jumbo. The concept is focused on stages as opposed to ages as each child develops at a different rate. Within the range, there are step by step puzzles, shape sorting puzzles, colour and copy puzzles and story puzzles. Each puzzle box includes a reward certificate and stickers to help motivate and reward children. The Grow with Jumbo launch will be supported by marketing within schools to engage teachers, parents and children, sampling in key parenting magazines and a dedicated microsite from the Jumbo website, www.jumbo.eu.

Gray Richmond, Managing Director of Jumbo Games, comments; “Toy Fair 2010 will kick off what is set to be an extremely strong year for Jumbo with a range of significant developments including strong new product launches and categories. These two launches will assist us with our long term goal of developing Jumbo into a one stop shop for all children’s puzzle needs and becoming a must-have part of children’s lives across the UK.”
