Ulrich Buser appointed as new Managing Director for Egmont Ehapa und Mitte Editionen

Ulrich Buser (36) has been appointed as the new Managing Director for Egmont Ehapa and Mitte Editionen. From March 2010, he will take over from Dennis Kilian with his new management responsibility. Dennis Killian, current Managing Director, Egmont Ehapa and Mitte Editionen will be leaving Germany to return home to Denmark where he will continue to work for Egmont. „Ulrich Buser is a well versed and passionate Media Managager with a wealth of expertise in both the newspaper and magazine business as well as the online and radio market“, says Rob McMenemy, Regional Manager of Central Europe Area and Egmont Holding, Germany. „We are delighted to welcome him to the Egmont Group and look forward to the continued dynamic development of both Egmont Ehapa and Mitte Editionen with Ulrich at the helm.“

36-year-old Ulrich Buser has worked for „Abendzeitung“, Munich, where he was employed as Managing Director and accounted for the tabloid newspapers „Abendzeitung München“, „Abendzeitung Nürnberg“ and “Wochenblatt Frankenreport”, Nuremberg. Prior to that, he worked in several leading positions with Entertainment Media Verlag and Gong Verlag (WAZ Media Group). He started his career as assistant to Helmut Markwort at Hubert Burda Media.

40-year-old Dennis Kilian was appointed as Managing Director of Egmont Ehapa in August 2007. The native Dane joined Egmont, Copenhagen, in 2003 as Vice President Finance. In August 2007 he also took over the responsibility for Mitte Editionen.
