Jumbo launch a limited edition Wasgij puzzle for Coronation Street's 50th anniversary

Jumbo, the number one producer of adult puzzles in the UK, are proud to announce the launch of a limited edition licensed Wasgij Destiny puzzle to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the iconic ITV series Coronation Street. This is the latest addition to the best-selling Wasgij range and scheduled to launch in store in June 2010 following its showcase at Toy Fair 2010 where Jumbo will also launch an exclusive competition to win a mystery Coronation Street prize.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Coronation Street, this special limited edition Wasgij Destiny puzzle created by Graham Thompson contains two puzzles within the box. This will allow puzzlers to puzzle the box image as well as the solution by predicting what the future holds for the people on the box. The box image features classic Coronation Street characters from the first 10 years of the show whilst the puzzle image reveals the future and includes more recent cast members from the last 10 years. Retailing at £18.99 SRP, Jumbo has secured strong retail distribution for the Wasgij Special Edition Coronation Street puzzle launching in store for Autumn/Winter 2010 following the showcase at Toy Fair 2010.

On the first day of Toy Fair, Tuesday 28 January 2010, Jumbo will launch an exclusive competition on their stand E40, inviting visitors to name the stars across the Coronation Street 50 year history. Whoever guesses the most correct star names will then win a mystery Coronation Street prize to celebrate the special anniversary.

In addition to the Wasgij Destiny puzzle, the Falcon brand is also launching a puzzle to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Coronation Street. This puzzle will feature 50 images – one from each year of the ITV soap. The ever-popular Wasgij range will also expand to include the Wasgij Spin and Shout Game, featuring six illustrations from Wasgij puzzles for 2010.
