Atlantyca Entertainment, a leading Italian publishing, entertainment and brand management company, will be a first-time exhibitor at Brand Licensing Europe 2009, bringing with them a slate of successful names from their library. The featured brands coming to the London show include Le Petit Prince, Tea Sisters and three different iterations of the popular worldwide children’s publishing brand Geronimo Stilton: Classic, The Animated Series and Geronimo Fantasy. “The response to our newest properties at the Licensing Expo in June was overwhelmingly positive,” said Maria Giovanna Gurrieri, Licensing Director at Atlantyca Entertainment. “We look forward to introducing our brands to the rest of the world at the October Brand Licensing Europe and announcing some new deals completed since the Las Vegas show this summer.” Atlantyca Entertainment attends this year’s Brand Licensing show seeking partners for: Geronimo Stilton Classsic - the company’s flagship brand, is the award-winning Geronimo Stilton international kids’ chapter book series, published worldwide and available in over 28 languages, including Italian, where they are published by Edizioni Piemme [Mondadori Group], and English, published in the U.S. by Scholastic. The book series centers on the life and adventures of a best-selling author and mild-mannered mouse Geronimo Stilton who works as the editor-in-chief of the Mouse Island newspaper, The Rodent's Gazette.. Geronimo Stilton, The Animated Series a new TV series, set to premiere this fall, (26 x 22 min), centering on the life and adventures of Geronimo Stilton – this time, he’s head of a veritable media empire. Although he’s still intellectual and mild-mannered, adventure always comes knocking on his door, launching him and his nephew Benjamin paws-first into capers in New Mouse City or in exotic locales around the world. They are often joined in these adventures by Trap, the ultimate pack rat and consummate prankster, and Thea, Geronimo’s sister who is a daring special correspondent. Geronimo Stilton’s The Kingdom Of Fantasy is another new iteration of the popular mouse. It takes readers on an adventure with Geronimo to meet elves, gnomes, pixies, and witches as they face a series of challenges to rescue Floridiana, the Queen of the fairies! The new adventure series has a unique feature: readers interact with the books through scratch and sniff “smells and scents” that appear throughout the story’s events. Four books in the series have already been published and over one million copies have sold in Italy with the fifth edition being released in September, Le Petit Prince is based on the classic children’s book of the same name, written by French author and aviator Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. A tale of love and loneliness, it’s the story of a downed pilot, lost in the Sahara Desert who is visited by the ghost of small prince who tells the pilot of his incredible adventures, with a few surreptitious life lessons thrown in. Tea Sisters - Colette, Nicky, Pamela, Violet and Paulina are five teenagers who live amazing adventures, travelling all over the world! When Tea Stilton, Geronimo’s charming sister and well-known reporter for Rodent’s Gazette, is invited at the exclusive Topford College to hold a training session in Adventurous Journalism, she discovers five extraordinary friends and together they become “Tea Sisters” in honor of their favorite teacher.
