Exclusive Men’s Street Wear Line Rolls Out Across 68 Markets Starting March 2009

Nickelodeon and Viacom Consumer Products (NVCP) and Zara, one of the world’s leading fashion retailers, are partnering on the launch of a new range of urban-inspired men’s t-shirts and hoodies called, Streetmuse, by MTV. Rolling out internationally on 5 March 2009 and continuing throughout the year, Streetmuse will be available in prime front of store locations in more than 1000 Zara stores, in 68 countries across Asia Pacific, Canada, Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and Latin America. Streetmuse, by MTV, blends the young urban experience and MTV’s position as the epi-centre of youth culture with contemporary style in (4) casual t-shirts and hoodie.

MTV’s Streetmuse will be featured in Zara shop windows in more than 400 locations including London’s Oxford Street, Paris’ Champs-Elysees, Berlin’s Ku'Damm and Milan’s Corso Buenos Aires. Presented in two different displays Streetmuse mixes the hottest young men’s fashion in a style-throw down that reflects the urban aesthetic and youth lifestyle shared by every culture around the world.

Smart yet casual, Streetmuse’s funky design-led t-shirts and hoodie encapsulate the very essence of the street and MTV brand – a collision of music, art, dance, innovation and attitude - which resonates fiercely with today’s youth. The original creative visually explores and references urban world city landscapes in a personal yet graphic way, capturing the brand’s cult heritage and modern day irreverence, resulting in a mix of muted grey and black toned designs, as well as brighter, fluorescent colour schemes.
