HABA provides what card game enthusiasts want! HABA’s game designers come up with 12 new card games. Unique: Each card game features wooden pieces that make playing even more exciting!

 

For Easter, the first day at school, as birthday presents, or a small gift in between – the small card games qualify for any occasion and are always well-received. They are the perfect companions for holidays and camping or the occasional trip to the swimming pool, as they are quickly packed-in and easy-to-take-along. The great variety of card games offers play fun for everyone: the youngest aged 3+, school children, teenagers and grown-ups – in a word, for the whole family. Who remembers best what the monster in “Monster Snack” (4723) has eaten? Who is most skilful at piling cards in “Animal upon Animal” (4717)? Who has the quickest reflexes and wins “Lickety split!” (4719)? The new HABA card games provide maximum fun in a mini format at pocket money prices!

4712 - Wiggle Waggle Geese

Each morning the young geese meet on the meadow to go to playschool. But today Goose Gladys overslept again. She is hardly able to leave the cosy hay, so some wake-up goose exercise is the order of the day. But watch out! Little fox is sneaking around and watching the merry gaggle of geese… Children join the little geese romping around the meadow. The little geese show eight different exercises. Will the children be able to imitate the movements at least once before the little fox has been able to run around the meadow?

4718 - Conrad the Colour Sheep

Conrad, the notorious colour sheep, is back in action! He eagerly dips his brush alternately into the red, the yellow, the blue, and the green paint pot: Conrad paints everything he has seen on his last trip – and that is quite a lot! Each of you gets three picture cards. Try and move Conrad to the paint pot cards and discard your card of the same colour. Be the first to discard all your cards and win the game!

4713 - Orchard – The Card Game

All trees in the orchard are covered in ripe fruits. But be quick to pluck the juicy fruits, as the raven is about to snatch them all! With a bit of luck and tactics children are able to pluck all fruits before the raven reaches the orchard.

4714 - Lucky Sock Dip – The Card Game

There is bedlam in the cupboard. The little sock monster has muddled it all up again! Only those who watch out and react quickly will be able to find matching pairs. All players search the heap of muddled socks for matching pairs at the same time. The first to find five pairs and catch the sock monster is rewarded with a monster card. The player who has most sock monster cards in the end, wins the game.

4723 - Monster Snack

The little monster is ravenously hungry. But be careful: Whoever feeds him the wrong food will be in monstrous trouble. Players feed the monster with food cards in turns. But the monster may only devour a certain amount of each food. So you have to keep in mind what food has already been given to the monster. If you think the monster is being overfed, shout: “Stop feeding!” If your suspicion is right, you are rewarded with a carrot. Otherwise, the suspected player gets the carrot. Who is the first to earn three carrots, wins the game.

4717 - Animal upon Animal – The Card Game

What’s that! The animal kids happily frolic on the crocodile’s back! But careful: It doesn’t take much to tumble down. For the first variant players have to prove their dexterity. Who is the most skilful player and the first to pile their cards upon the crocodile to win the game? In the second variant you need a bit of luck. Be the first to draw the animal children corresponding to your animal mothers from the crocodiles back and win the dexterity game for experts.

4722 - At Full Throttle

Everybody is on "pins and needles". While waiting impatiently for the starting signal the racers noisily rev up their engines. Each of them wants to take the lead right from the start and win the race “at full throttle”. Three cards are lying on the table and display a maze of bendy circuits with differently coloured racing cars at each end. Throw the dice to find out which car takes the lead. But the leading position changes from one card to the next. The first to find out which car wins the race and snatches the corresponding car is rewarded with a card. The first player with three cards wins the game.

4715 - Number Pirates – The Card Game

The wild number-pirates once again set off on treasure hunt: Capt. Mathematikus and his parrot Lora sail the Seven Seas. “Treasure island on starboard!“, Lora suddenly caws. Which number treasure will they find today? All players calculate at the same time. Each card displays four arithmetic problems. But only one goes with the operators on the dices. The first player to provide the correct solution receives the card as their reward. Winner is the first to collect five cards.

4709 - Verhext nochmal!

The powerful witch Gundula charmed seven princes. To releases them from the spell, players have to prove their own magical powers and brew a miraculous potion. The princes will be released as soon as the great potion is finished. To mix the elixir and collect prince cards you have to add always two ingredients in the exact order. In the end, you piece your prince cards together and count the points your prince scores. The larger the prince, the more points he scores!

4710 - Don Drago

Many treasures can be found in the mountains of Dragonland. But be careful: Don Dragon guards them jealously. The first to loot the treasure, becomes the worthy hero – but only until a larger treasure shows up! Try and collect as many treasure cards of the same type as possible. That takes some good luck, but also tactical skills while discarding and swapping cards. Don Drago plays a major role as he now and then blocks your own cards or those of your fellow players. Depending on the number of players, you have to collect 9, 11, or 13 treasure cards to win the game.

4719 - Lickety split

Do you have quick reflexes? For this game you have to discard your cards faster than your fellow players! But be quick to rethink, as the discarding rules change lickety-split. Keep calm and stay one spark ahead of your competitors. You play several rounds and win a wooden lightening when you stay focuses and are the quickest to discard your cards in compliance with the colour rules of the lightening cards. The first to earn three lightenings is the overall winner.

4721 - Word Scrambler

Professor Word-Scramble’s latest invention is a machine that produces words when fed with individual letters. Unfortunately, the machine does not work flawless and often ejects only letter jumble. Now each player tries to form a word of their own letter cards that fits into the category on the dice (e.g. animals). You start with three letters and draw new cards each round. As soon as you display a suitable word you are rewarded with a wooden coin. The first player to earn three wooden coins wins the game.
