    As part of a collaborative and ongoing partnership with Panini, Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products Germany (NVCP) launched a VIVA branded magazine on 11 February in the German market. The monthly lifestyle magazine will reflect the local music channel’s content and energy with exclusive interviews from global and local stars such as Pink, Benji Madden and Lily Allen, as well as offering all the latest in fashion, beauty and trends. Aimed at 14-19 yr olds, the magazine will be available to purchase across news kiosks at a cost of 2Euros.
  • Netherlands
    NVCP Benelux’s hugely successful 4-year partnership with Verkade has been further cemented following the Dutch confectionary maker’s recent win for its Dora the Explorer biscuits, first launched in 2004. The long-running annual Innova Klassiek Award initiative celebrates the long term success and longevity of products, as voted by supermarket buyers.
  • UK
    The licensing programme for Nickelodeon’s smash hit show Wonder Pets! begins in March with the launch of a range of Fisher Price toys. This will be followed by Wii/DS games from 2K Play, toys from Martin Yaffe and David Halsall, books from Simon and Schuster, Ty Beanies, DVDs and apparel. Much of the product will be supported by a TV advertising campaign. It is hoped that the new products will tap into the huge popularity of Wonder Pets! with pre-schoolers.
