Lena, the little blonde girl with pigtails, has one dear friend forever. It’s her favourite soft toy Paul – a teddy bear. He may (or rather must) join in any activity Lena wants to do: She brushes his teeth, combs his tangled fur until it hurts, takes him with her on the bus and even perform classical ballet. Not really those things that let a  bear hum with joy. There’s only one thing that might help: Now Lena has to do what he wants her to. The stories of their friendship tell about playing, having fun and quarrels, feeling envy, making up again, being considerate and understanding. For children’s untroubled sleep at night Lena and Paul always remain inseparable in the end.
All Sandmann viewers love Lena and Paul – on TV as well as in the lovable picture books by Anja Rieger (Publisher: Baumhaus Verlag). For many years now Lena and Paul have been regularly airing as part of the Sandmann Show on German TV. Director of the “Lena and Paul” series is Maya Gräfin Rothkirch who has also been responsible for “The Little Polar Bear” and “Laura’s Star”, amongst others.
Celebrities Entertainment is now appointed official pan-European licensing agency and markets Lena and Paul for all categories: “We are thrilled to be able to promote such a charming property of high educational value.” |
