Sebastian König, one of the most popular presenters with the young audience in Germany will join the entertainment business by hosting the roadshow of the Looney Tunes Sportparty. The 23-year-old is a big Looney Tunes fan since his childhood. He has been working as a TV presenter since 2006 and currently host the shows MIXERY MASSIVE MUSIC, STRASSENCHARTS, VIVA SPECIAL and NEU at the music television channel VIVA. His fans all over Germany will now get the opportunity to experience their favorite TV star live and up-close on the Looney Tunes show stage. The Looney Tunes Sportparty Tour will cover all of Germany: kick-off will be on Mai 10th at the Kidsfestival in Kiel. „Basti“ and the Looney Tunes will then perform at nine other children’s festivals all over Germany, including for example the Leipzig City Festival, the Children and Youth Festival in Berlin and the Kids Festival at the Olympic Park in Munich. A registration for participating at the tour is not required - the kids can just hop into their favourite sports gear and get started. The elaborate parcours, which consists of six different stations, challenges, among other things, their sense of balance, strength, speed, flexibility, endurance and team spirit. Whether the Silvester Catwalk, Wile E. Coyotes Climbing Experience, basketball at Daffy Ducks Dunk, the Roadrunner Parcours or the Speedy Gonzales Driving School: every station will be hosted by one of the Looney Tunes characters, since exercising with Bugs Bunny and other cartoon heroes is just guaranteed fun. Moreover, the young athletes will get the chance to take pictures together with Bugs Bunny and may win a variety of great prizes. The Looney Tunes Sportparty is an initiative of Warner Bros. Consumer Products, the German Dance Teachers Association (ADTV), the BARMER Health Insurance Fund, the State Institute for Early Childhood Education (IFP) and of the “Diet and Physical Activity” Platform (peb). The aim of the tour is to encourage the natural urge to move in children of the ages six to ten years, advancing health and physical development with fun and games. Boomerang, the 24-hour cartoon channel, presents the Sportparty as its exclusive TV partner. The channel which airs timeless cartoons for the whole family, is available e.g. over the pay-TV plattform Premiere Star, which supports the tour as well.
