• EM.Entertainment issues license for Nintendo DS© adaptation to INTENIUM

Console Cult: EM.Entertainment GmbH has issued a license for game adaptations of cartoon classic Vicky the Viking for the Nintendo DS© portable video game console to INTENIUM GmbH, Germany’s leading provider of casual games.

The license contract with EM.Entertainment encompasses several editions and includes the marketing of the game in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, as well as England, France and the Benelux countries. The game adaptation is currently scheduled to appear in stores in 2009, in time for the cinema premiere of Michael Bully Herbig’s live-action feature film version of Vicky the Viking.

The beginning of the co-operation will see an action and skill game published for the six years and over target group. Over several missions, the rather fearful but quick-thinking Vicky is steered through exciting scenarios such as “Gold from Denmark”, “Escape from Sven” and “The Golden Sword”. The game is rounded off by a Vicky quiz and further features.
