The Company, which will launch a motion picture for the first time, will be supported by the Munich film agency 24 Bilder. 24 Bilder was responsible for the recent distribution of the Oscar-premiered film “The Counterfeiters” and the German comedy “Ossi’s Eleven”. In the PR field, m4e AG works with the Public Insight agency, and Promotionshaus deals with promotions. Both Munich agencies bring much know how from the movie industry to the marketing. The 95-minute film, produced by Rainbow founder Iginio Straffi, ties its story into the plot of the second season of the TV series. The eponymous Winx Club is formed by the fairy Bloom and her five friends, who, living in a magical dimension, attend a boarding school where they learn to use their abilities. Meanwhile Bloom’s own fate and that of her parents will not give her a moment's peace and she tries to find her parents again, who have disappeared. In doing so, she has to face the evil powers of the Dark Dimension, but not alone... Naturally, there is no lack of fun, friendship, fashion, and love in this film. It contains all the ingredients that have made the TV series a success among girls between the ages of 6 and 14 on the NICK channel. Besides a strong range of coverage in TV, print and promotion campaigns as well as press relations effectively geared to target groups, m4e is also placing its bets on the licensing of Winx Club. In addition to existing license partners for the TV series, other partners to support the movie debut with their products and activities have already been acquired for the movie release. Important licensing partners for Winx Club include: Mattel, Panini, Ferrero, Tex-Ass, Blue Ocean, Ravensburger, BIP and Upper Deck. |
