TV-Loonland, the children’s brand management company, announces the production launch of two seasonal specials for their multi-award winning show Little Princess, following the resounding worldwide success of the pre-school series. TV-Loonland has teamed up with The Illuminated Film Company, award winning producers of Little Princess, to premiere two 22 minute specials themed around Halloween and Christmas. Both specials featuring the new adventures of Little Princess are due for completion in August 2008. Little Princess launched on air with Five in September 2006 and it continues to prove a ratings success as it has been constantly on air ever since. It was rated the top programme on terrestrial TV in the UK in March 2007 (Source: DDS based on 4-6 year old target audience) and the second 35 x 11' series of Little Princess currently airs on Milkshake. The hit pre-school show performs well not just in the UK but internationally as well with strong broadcast sales worldwide: the TV show has been sold in over 160 countries to date. Having showcased the first range of Little Princess toys at international toy fairs at the beginning of the year, TV-Loonland and Martin Yaffe International / Born to Play, the Master Toy Licensee have also enjoyed a successful launch in store at the end of February 2008. The Spring/Summer product lines have received strong retail distribution and key retailers continue to report strong sell-through figures.
