Make the Deal of Your Life – Suitcases Packed With Money Are Waiting For Lucky Winners

The Official Game to the Successful Sat.1 Game Show “Deal or No Deal” Out Now for Nintendo DS, PC Game Release will follow soon

Someone else hit the greatest lottery jackpot of all times, but at “Deal or No Deal” gamblers may still dream of the big money. The official Nintendo DS game to the successful Sat.1 show is now available at retailer’s shops throughout Germany. And Atari will release the official PC game even before Christmas. Atari has been licensed the right on “Deal or No Deal” by MM MerchandisingMedia, the licensing division of ProSiebenSat.1 Media Group.

In “Deal or no Deal” candidates decide, whether they want to gamble for the jackpot of 250,000 Euros or if they prefer to act as “the banker” and try to buy the candidate’s suitcases for little money.

“We are happy to provide the successful TV show ’Deal or No Deal’ with a totally different platform”, said Michael Krethe, Atari Germany. “The game enables the fans to open suitcases themselves and experience the excitement and thrill of the popular show at home.”

The ‘candidate mode’ is modelled on the original concept of the TV show. The player chooses a suitcase and tries to get as much money for it as possible. During the following rounds, locked suitcases will be opened and – according to the amounts of money still available in the game – the banker marks his offers up or down.

The ‘banker mode’ however, allows the player to swap places and become banker themselves trying to buy suitcases from the candidate for as little money as possible.

A special feature is the ‘task mode’ where players may pack the suitcases with content of their own decision. Thus up to four players may gamble for tasks like the evening cooking or a neat car wash – no limits for creativity.

“Deal or No Deal” is out now for Nintendo DS. The PC game is scheduled for release on 17 December 2007. For more information about the Atari product portfolio, please visit www.atari.de.
