Brandora Editorial Staff - September 2021

ACONYTE BOOKS, the fiction imprint of global games group Asmodee, is delighted to announce that it has concluded a range-wide deal with Asmodee Korea, the distribution unit for the Korean market, to bring its Arkham Horror range of novels to Korean readers.

Kevin Kim, Asmodee Korea’s country manager, said: “We are delighted to be working with Aconyte Books to introduce this brand new range of novels based on the Arkham Horror games to Korean readers. Arkham Horror is one of the most popular series of games in the core gamers’ category, so we’re excited to deepen the rich experience of this game world by bringing these books to Korean fans.”

Arkham Horror is set in the fabled New England town of Arkham in the 1920s, where sinister cults are gathering to summon their eldritch masters and seize control of our world. Asmodee Korea will publish the first three novels in the Arkham Horror series in early 2022.

“These will be the first Korean novels based upon an Asmodee game, and we are looking forward to publishing more novels from Aconyte Books in the future,” said Kevin Kim.

Marc Gascoigne, Publisher at Aconyte, added: “The world of Arkham Horror is one of the richest and most deeply imagined settings to be found in any of our games, and we can’t wait to bring these novels to its many passionate fans in Korea.”
