RHS and Hotter announce Spring Florals footwear collection

Stylish, comfortable women’s footwear using RHS imagery is available from early 2020

Following the announcement earlier this year of the award of a licence to Hotter, the UK’s biggest shoemaker, for a selection of comfortable and stylish women’s shoes and sandals, the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) has now revealed the contents of the first Hotter-RHS collection, which will be available in Hotter stores and at hotter.com next year.

For the Spring Florals Collection, Hotter has created two exclusive patterns, using a selection of the RHS’s extensive library of 25,000 botanical art images. The team has used the two designs as beautiful accents on three of its best-selling products: Chase – a stylish and ever-so-comfortable casual; Tropic – a pretty sandal; and Shake, a versatile everyday shoe.

Hotter is manufacturing 14,000 pairs of the premium leather shoes in its UK factory in Skelmersdale. The shoes will come in sizes 3 to 9 (with some half sizes). Both standard and wide fit options will be available. Made from premium leather, the footwear has been designed for comfort, using clever design details, padding and adjustment to give the perfect fit.

Hotter’s Spring Florals collection in partnership with the RHS will launch in March 2020, when it will be available to buy internationally via hotter.com and at Hotter’s 80 UK stores.

“We have been searching for the perfect collaboration partner for a number of years and the RHS is definitely the perfect fit,” said Hotter CEO Ian Watson. “Our customers have an affinity with the great outdoors: they are active, appreciate horticulture, and, of course, need comfortable shoes when taking time out at the beautiful RHS Gardens and flower shows across the UK.”

Shereen Llewellin, Licensing Executive, RHS, says: “Hotter is a highly regarded company, crafting shoes that are the epitome of comfort and style. Like the RHS, Hotter strongly supports British design and development: it has a commitment and passion for footwear entirely made in the UK. We’re delighted to be working with Hotter and eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Spring Florals Collection.”
