After blockbuster films like “Der Schuh des Manitu” and “(T)Raumschiff Surprise-Periode 1” Michael “Bully” Herbig finalises his movie trilogy with “Lissi und der wilde Kaiser”.

His latest work not only is his first ever 3D animation movie – above all it is his tribute to German Heimatfilms – sentimental films with regional background.

Bully comments: “I am not sure, but I suppose it will be an epos...” The extravagant production is centred around the overjoyed couple Emperor Franz and his wife Lissi whose ideal world suddenly comes apart at the seams. Bizarre characters, hilarious parodies, turbulent adventures and incredibly romantic dialogues – a must-see movie for any cineaste.

Andrea Moden GmbH introduced their huge range of fancy dresses and accessories to the film at the International Toy Fair in Nuremberg 2007.

The movie is scheduled to premier in October 2007.
