Tucker and Goliath recently announced that Goliath has acquired Tucker, a New Jersey-based designer and marketer of innovative outdoor toys. Founded in 2001, the manufacturer of sports toys re-thinks traditional games and provides outdoor products with an extraordinary twist. Take the Phlat Ball for example, which turns from a flying disk into a ball, and is one of Tucker’s most successful products. It has already been sold 23 million times in more than 60 countries!

After Golitha’s earlier acquisition of Britz’n’Pieces in Australia, the purchase of Tucker now continues their mission to become one of world’s most influential toys and games companies. “The award-winning Tucker products perfectly complement our existing broad portfolio of toys and games. We realize the tremendous potential in the combination of outdoor toys and our successful range of water and beach toys, including Wahu and trampolines,” said Adi Golad, founder of Goliath.

“The synergies of Golitha and Tucker are a considerable win for both companies. We will focus on what we do best: creating products with an innovative twist,” said Mike Goldman, founder and President of Tucker. The company will be integrated into Golitha’s operations as a centre of innovation and product development. Goldman adds: “All international distribution agreements will remain effective and retailers will continue to be provided by their usual suppliers. So the acquisition will be a smooth change for all our partners.”
