INK Global has announced the appointment of Hijinx as master toy licensee for ZAFARI – the new animation that’s set to be one of the biggest kids TV launches in years. Spanning plush, figurines, collectibles, creative and role play categories, Hijinx will act as exclusive Global Manufacturer (excluding China, MENA and Japan) and will distribute the line across North America, Australia, New Zealand and U.K.
ZAFARI is the creation of animation visionary David Dozoretz and tells the story of a group of friends who inhabit a land where all the resident animals have been magically born with an amalgamation of varying skins, patterns and characteristics, making each individual truly unique.
A host of broadcasters have already come in on the project on a pre-buy level. These include France TV, Lagardere TIJI, SRC Radio Canada and SpaceToon. NBC Universal have picked up the global distribution rights and the first series will World Premier on TV in November 2017 (France and MENA).
