LIMA Charity Bike Ride/Information and registration

LIMA, Licensing Industry Merchandise Association, is the primary source of funding for the Children's Brain Tumor Foundation (CBTF).
On Sunday, May 21, prior to the start of License Show 2017, we are having a 28 mile bike ride in Red Rocks National Park outside of Las Vegas with all proceeds going to CBTF. A great cause, a great ride! Your donations are greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much for your interest in the First Annual LIMA Cares Charity Bike Ride in Las Vegas.

Ted Larkins, CPLG North America on behalf of the LIMA Charity committee: "It’s going to be so much fun — and raise money for a great cause! 16 of us did this ride last year and it was breathtaking. I’m not a bike rider and with no training, easily made the (28 mile) trek. There is one long climb, and I walked some of it (no pride lost), and there is a van that follows us and at anytime you can put your bike on the back racks and ride to the top (again, no pride lost). From there the views are spectacular and the down hill ride home is awesome. (See my photo taken at the top last year.) There is a shorter trip (15 miles) available which is also beautiful (really, no pride lost!). You can decide when we get to the turn around point. For you runners, this is a great opportunity to cover more ground in a shorter time!

Pick-up is at the Mandalay Bay at 7 a.m. on Sunday, returning about 11 a.m. The cost is $115 which includes everything: transportation to/from Mandalay Bay, bike, helmet, water and snacks. Oh, it also includes the time of your life with fellow, cool-like-you, licensing folks!

For the charity, we have set up a page on JustGive.org: www.justgive.org/LIMABikeRide We are suggesting a self donation of $25 on this site. And along with that, send the link to your family/friends/colleagues and ask them to support your efforts. The rider with the most donations will receive a standing ovation from the entire group at the end of the ride. Priceless!
