Santoro is delighted to congratulate UK licensee Craft Consortium Ltd. on winning the ‘Most Innovative Product Range 2017’ in the Craft Business Awards for their debut collection of Kori Kumi papercraft. Awards were handed out at the prestigious annual creative trade show Craft, Hobby & Stitch International in Birmingham last weekend.

The ‘Most Innovative Product Range 2017’ was judged by a panel of industry experts including the Senior Buyer at HobbycraftHeather Robbins and the Editor of Crafts Beautiful Sarah Crosland. The Kori Kumi collection of brightly coloured papers and prettily shaped stamps and embellishments surpassed shortlisted collections from West Yorkshire Spinners, Efco and Chameleon to come home with the prize.

Craft Consortium’s Creative Director Nigel Lennon says that he is ‘very pleased and proud’ to have been honoured with the crafting accolade, and is excited by what 2017 has in store.

Further developments for the Kori Kumi crafting range are on the horizon, as Craft Consortium has recently partnered with Create and Craft TV. Santoro’s Kori Kumi collection is set to be the focus of the collaboration’s Spring launch.
