Clan TVE in Spain as well as RTP and Canal Panda in Portugal have acquired m4e’s new preschool series Wissper.

The new preschool animation series “Wissper” is set to broadcast on the most popular kids channels on the Iberian Peninsula. The German brand management and media company m4e AG has sold the TV-rights on its latest production to Spanish TVE’s dedicated kids channel Clan. For Portugal, public broadcaster RTP as well as the pay-TV channel Canal Panda have picked up the show, which is now sold to more than 50 territories around the globe. The deals for both territories were negotiated by Brands & Rights 360, m4e’s TV agent for Iberia and the Latin American markets.

Aimed at preschool children, “Wissper” follows the adventures of a little girl by the same name who has a very special talent - she is able to communicate with animals, which allows her to understand their problems and help solve them. Wissper the “animal whisperer” is a beloved character for young viewers all around the world.

The 52 episodes of the CGI-animated TV-series are created by London-based animation studio Cuckoo (formerly: Absolutely Cuckoo) – known for the BBC-hit-series “Waybuloo” - in coproduction with m4e AG, Telegael (Ireland), Discreet Art Productions (India), and the German BASTEI Media GmbH, a subsidiary of publisher Bastei Lübbe AG. m4e manages the worldwide distribution. Season 2 with 52 new adventures of Wissper has been greenlit for production in January 2017.
