Rocket Licensing Adds New UK Partners for The Grinch

Rocket Licensing (Rocket), one of the UK’s leading licensing agents, manages the UK consumer products programme for the works of Dr Seuss on behalf of Dr Seuss Enterprises including the author’s perennial Christmas tale How The Grinch Stole Christmas.

Now, building the on the success Rocket has experienced with the Grinch in the fashion category, the agent today unveils its latest licensing partnerships that will take the brand into new categories and significantly expand its retail footprint this Christmas.

Rocket has signed homewares company Dreamtex for a line of Grinch bedding and IG Design Group is now also on board to introduce a line of Christmas gift wrap. Boosting the Grinch’s seasonal apparel and accessories offering, Rocket has appointed BCI to produce a range of kids’ nightwear, Brand International Group will launch its first line of adult and kids’ footwear including slippers and Misirli is debuting a line of socks at Tesco this Christmas.

These newest additions will support a raft of new Christmas 2016 fashion ranges from existing licensees including Somerbond (adult nightwear and underwear) and Park Agencies (adult t-shirts, sweatshirts and knitwear). The new lines will be available at popular high-street retailers including Topshop, Primark, New Look and Matalan in addition to grocers, Tesco and Asda.
