Mia and me flies into China

m4e AG has appointed the Chinese kids and family entertainment company UYoung Culture & Media to distribute all audio-visual rights of Mia and me in mainland China.

 

The CGI-animated hit TV series „Mia and me”, produced by Hahn & m4e Productions GmbH and sold to more than 80 territories, is making its way into the Chinese market for the very first time. The German brand management and media company m4e AG, responsible for the property’s worldwide distribution, has brokered a deal with UYoung Culture & Media Co., Ltd, one of China’s leading kids companies. UYoung will represent all TV-, home entertainment and digital rights of „Mia and me” (78 x 23 minutes) in mainlaind China and is planning a roll out across multiple platforms in early 2017.

„Mia and me“ is created by Gerhard Hahn and a production of Hahn & m4e Productions GmbH – a joint venture between m4e AG and Gerhard Hahn. The series is co-produced by Rainbow and ZDF German Television Network. Season 2 was launched in spring 2015 and is successfully broadcasted in Germany, Italy, France and many other territories. Season 3 will be available in early 2017, while season 4 and a feature film are currently in development.
