Streamwerke to focus on ‚online first‘ productions

ZDF Enterprises complements its activities in the digital domain with Streamwerke GmbH. The company emerged from F12 Media GmbH, the digital subsidiary of ZDF Digital Medienproduktion GmbH, and has its headquarters in Berlin. Jannik Hülshoff (30) and Dennis Papirowski (29) have been appointed to manage the company.

The objective of Streamwerke GmbH is to independently develop and produce high-quality “Online First” content, distribute it, optimize its range and moderate on all relevant social media platforms. For this purpose Streamwerke GmbH will operate its own web studio in Berlin for own as well as commissioned productions. The company will also act as a partner and consultant on the development of sustainable online strategies.

Both CEOs worked for Google before for many years: Jannik Hülshoff most recently managed international brands as part of its global media, branding and range strategy and acted as an interface between the brands and Google/YouTube from his base in San Francisco. Dennis Papirowski advised German-language media partners and influencers on their content and range strategy on YouTube from out of London.

“We are convinced that with Streamwerke GmbH we have created the best structural conditions for exploiting the opportunities in the area of digital online content,” said Alexander Coridass, President and CEO at ZDF Enterprises.
