ZDF Enterprises has licensed the TV and VOD rights to the Swedish political drama Blue Eyes to the Israeli television platform yes, for broadcast on yesOh and the yesVOD service.
Yes is also the home of the thriller Cybergeddon and the crime series Jack Irish from ZDF Enterprises.
“We are very pleased that we are now able to expand our relations with Yes in Israel,” said Alexander Coridass, President and CEO at ZDF Enterprises. “Yes is the perfect channel for this brilliant series that is thus able to continue its international success,” he added.
The drama series Blue Eyes is a snapshot of Sweden's political and social development. In ten one-hour episodes, the series tells of the manipulative power of politics, mediagenic election propaganda, right-wing tendencies, personal greed and tragic individual fates. A representative of the Swedish right-wing party is murdered. Her children become radicalized and now seek revenge.
Blue Eyes has already been sold to customers in Great Britain, Ireland, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Belgium, Slovenia and the USA. |
