E-Bop.tv the first digital TV channel for preschool and key stage 1 children with a 2 hour daily limit of viewing time and 100% British content, successfully launched on 2nd June at 11am.

The brain-child of a collaboration between 30-year kid’s TV veteran Producer, Keith Littler (Little Red Tractor, Roman Mysteries, Lazytown, Watership Down, Magic Roundabout) and award-winning entrepreneur Victoria Brook, E-Bop.tv offers a safe and free antidote to the ever increasing Americanisation of British children’s television / digital content. And with the addition of an automatic switch-off after two hours of continuous viewing plus a strict no advertising policy, E-Bop.tv is the channel that gives parents back the control.

Dr Amanda Gummer, Child Psychologist and Founder of Fundamentally Children, comments “Managing the level of screen time is important for children’s development and it’s great to see a digital company taking this seriously and offering parents a practical, easy to implement solution to help children manage screen time. Once children realise it’s the TV not the parents putting the limit on screen time, conflict is avoided and parents can facilitate other fun activities with their children.”

The launch is supported by a heavyweight marketing plan to educate parents on why E-Bop.tv is different and content will be refreshed every month.

E-Bop.tv is available online and is not only a viewing portal for original British programming covering fun, education and imagination, but also houses an interactive zone where children can learn crafts, recipes and facts, with content from contributing blogger and vlogger experts.
