Studio 100’s CGI series Heidi sees solid growth in Argentina across ratings and new licensees

Studio 100 International, part of the leading family entertainment company Studio 100 Group, today announced continued growth in the key Latin American market of Argentina with three new agreements which sit alongside strong ratings for its latest flagship property Heidi.

The series has been broadcasting exclusively on the Disney Channel since August 2015 which ranks as the number one satellite channel for all kids, and especially for girls age 4-11 years in Argentina. The CGI series uses a new and modern image and now broadcasts in over 138 countries.

Studio 100 has appointed International Merchandising Consultants (IMC) as its licensing agent for Argentina; founded in 1978, IMC have over 35 years of experience and sits firmly as the leader in licenses.

Already, IMC has struck three licensing deals in Argentina; most notably, entertainment company Feg Entretenimientos SA (FENIX) has been appointed to develop a live Heidi show, for Spring 2016.

With a cast of eight and a script which is based on the CGI TV series, the Heidi live show will be set in the Alps with both day and night scenes plus a magical snow setting and animal storyline. The show stays true to the original key brand values and focuses on the natural beauty of the alps and variety of weather across the mountains” commented Marcelo Dionisio, Feg Entretenimientos SA’s General Director

Feg Entretenimientos SA (FENIX) are a professional live show company working across a range of sectors and have managed events with brands such as Lollapalooza, Holiday on Ice and The Black Eyed Peas in concert.

Stickers Design has also been appointed to produce trading card games and a range of stickers and albums for the Argentine market. Lastly, Daysal will develop a range of children’s tableware products including mugs, bowls plates, lunchboxes, tumblers and toothbrush holders.
