Asia TV Forum & Market 2015: Studio 100 Media Presents Highlight Series at booth no. B23

At this year’s Asia TV Forum & Market Studio 100 Media is presenting a variety of TV series’ for children and families. Highlights include the new CGI Animation The Wild Adventures of Blinky Bill (52 x 11 minutes; for 2016/17), 2D Animation K3 (52 x 13 minutes; completed), CGI series Tashi (52 x 11 minutes; completed) and Arthur and the Minimoys (52 x 13 minutes), a brand-new CGI series that is scheduled for late 2017. Studio 100 Media is located at ATF booth number B23.

The Wild Adventures of Blinky Bill tells the brand-new stories of a true Australian icon. Blinky Bill is one of Australia's most recognized characters, based on a children’s book from the 1930s and starring in a 2D animated series from the mid-90s. In August 2015 the newly produced CGI animated movie Blinky Bill was released to cinemas in Australia and the new CGI series The Wild Adventures of Blinky Bill will follow in 2016/17. In all his adventures 11-year-old Blinky Bill shows cheeky overconfidence and a knack for mischief. He is always accompanied by his thrill seeking, highly strung but loyal sidekick Jacko. Together they take on all the challenges and threats to protect their home and help the citizens of their outback town. Exaggerated in his wild imagination, Blinky turns the simplest of challenges into an epic adventure. The series is produced by Flying Bark Productions in association with Telegael and Giant Wheel.

Friends forever, wherever, whatever: K3 is a big pink bubble of a show that pops right into your face: Kim, Kylie and Kate are three ordinary girls in an extraordinary world. Teenage pop singers on an amazing global tour full of unexpected diversions, which lead to fun packed stories. Sweet and cheeky, bright and breezy, K3 never know what's around the next bend in their road and just can't say no to any adventure. Will they save the orphanage from the property developers, expose the real jewel thieves AND get to their concert on time? Of course! With its bright colors, bouncy tunes and irreverent tone K3 is a magical musical tour. The new show is based on Studio 100’s Benelux live-action franchise 'The World of K3' and is produced by Studio 100 Animation SAS to capture an international audience.

Arthur and the Minimoys is based on Luc Besson’s children’s book of the same name and the feature films also produced by the French filmmaker and director. The CGI series follows the adventures of an average little boy who falls into a vivid world of magic, fantasy and action. Paris based Studio 100 Animation will co-produce the major new kids series with EuropaCorp Television in collaboration with Gulli/Tiji (Lagardère Group) and Disney Channel Germany.

The CGI animated series Tashi is based on the beloved Australian children's books by Barbara and Anna Fienberg that have sold more than one million copies in over 20 countries around the globe including China, Europe, Thailand, Russia, North America and the UK. All the exploits start when Jack’s parents bundle him off to stay with his distant cousin Tashi. The two boys get swept up in a series of wild adventures exploring a fantastic land far, far away. In this strange new world where nothing seems familiar and logic doesn’t work, Jack is lucky to have Tashi at his side, as he is the perfect guide through this exotic and crazy world. Tashi is produced by Flying Bark Productions in association with Discreet Art Productions India and Telegael Teoranta.
