ZDF Enterprises - April 2015

Media producer, coproducer and distributor ZDF Enterprises announces ZDFE.junior’s first major sale of live-action programs for youths to HOT, the biggest VOD supplier in Israel. HOT is an internet, telecom and TV service provider, cable platform operator including company-owned and -run channels and VOD supplier.

The substantial package contains 260 half-hour episodes of some of ZDF Enterprises' most popular and recent kids' shows such as H2O - Just Add Water (3 seasons), Dance Academy (3 seasons), Wolfblood (3 seasons), The Elephant Princess (2 seasons) and Sam Fox: Extreme Adventures (first season).

The types of program are varied and range from the "mermaid classic" and worldwide mermaid craze initiator H2O – Just Add Water to the exciting new action-packed adventure series Sam Fox: Extreme Adventures, in which a clever but down-to-earth teen uses his head to face enormous dangers.

The deal involves digital rights for HOT’s basic SVoD platform HOT VOD Young.

Peter Lang, ZDFE.junior’s VP at ZDF Enterprises: "Israel's HOT will be an ideal platform for making superb viewing for children and youths accessible in a flexible way. Prior to the current agreement, HOT and ZDF Enterprises had already teamed up concerning other programming genres. We at ZDFE.junior are proud to be able to extend this successful partnership to children and youth programs."
