ZDF Enterprises signs first-look agreement with Projector Pictures

ZDF Enterprises, the commercial arm of German Pubcaster ZDF, has signed a first-look development and distribution deal with Projector Pictures, the production company behind shows such as “Kidnap and Ransom” and "The Body Farm".

Projector is currently developing a number of projects across the UK networks, as well as in the US, where they have been working with ABC Studios, Lionsgate and with Showtime, on a remake of “Kidnap and Ransom”. ZDF Enterprises distributes a catalogue of more than 5,000 hours of drama programming on behalf of ZDF as well as third parties. Recent shows include “Blochin – The Living and the Dead”, “The Team”, “The Bridge/Bron”, “The Killing” and “The Fall”.

The deal, which begins with immediate effect, was brokered by Rachel Gesua, Executive Producer at Projector Pictures, Charles Moore, Partner at Wiggin, Karoline Meichsner-Sertl, VP Legal Affairs at ZDF Enterprises and Tasja Abel, VP ZDFE.drama.
