Management change at IMC Toys Deutschland

IMC Toys Deutschland GmbH changed management. Ian Steinhäuser (52) who was Managing Director responsible for Germany, Austria and Switzerland left the company at year-end 2014 to take up new challenges.

He is succeeded by Javier López (44) who was the last 2 years at Schleich GmbH in Schwäbisch Gmünd. Javier López assumes his new position at IMC effective January 1st 2015 in Schwabach. His responsibility will be to look after important national accounts and he will also be responsible for the strategic and operative advancement of the company.

Javier López has excellent knowledge of the manufacturing and the retail business. He gained his experience with big retail companies like OBI and Fressnapf where he was active as International Sales Manager and Country Development Manager for more than 15 years. From January 2013 to December 2014 he worked as Sales Director responsible for Germany, Austria and Spain at Schleich GmbH and contributed substantially to the success of Schleich in this mentioned countries.

Mr Javier López will be a valuable person at the head of our German Subsidiary thanks to his competence and his extensive knowledge of the toy market.
