Sambro Release the Hounds

Sambro are celebrating after signing an exclusive licensing deal with Sony Pictures Television. The new partnership will see the North West based firm create a brand new range of bags and stationery based on the brilliant ITV2 horror gameshow Release the Hounds.

The unique programme, made by Sony Pictures Television’s Gogglebox Entertainment, launched strongly last week with a high level of social media engagement. Release the Hounds sees three unsuspecting contestants trying to make their way through a huge forest in a quest to unlock chests full of prize money. In order to walk away with any money, they have to face some of the scariest challenges ever seen on TV including outrunning a pack of hounds.

The Sambro Release the Hounds range will be introduced in 2015 and will include bags and stationery based on the series. The collection will be aimed at tweens and teen fans of the show. The deal was brokered by Lindsay Pearl, director of consumer product licensing at Sony Pictures Television

Release the Hounds has to be seen to be believed and we know that this new series is going to be one of the most talked about programmes on TV. Our design team have started working on the collection and we cannot wait to launch it early next year.
