Tank battles, a talking kitten Tom, a cute creature that gobbles candy, the legendary angry birds – we know all these images thanks to the ultra-popular game apps for various gadgets, such as smartphones, iPhones and tablets. Every day brings more and more encounters with these brands as we come across stationary, toys and school supplies with the images of familiar characters. How did a brand that had carried us away into the virtual world end up in every sphere of our everyday life? You can learn about this at the Licensing World Russia International Trade Exhibition to be held on September 16-18, 2014.

During this time brand owners and licensing agencies offering showbiz figures for rent, corporate, fashion, sports and lifestyle brands, artistic, designer and heritage images will gather together at the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre (Pavilion 2, Hall 6).

The Licensing World Russia Exhibition will present the latest developments from popular images, cartoon characters, cinema, comic books and fiction; the exhibition will help visitors understand how using the images of popular characters and successful brands influences brand recognition and boosts sales. The licensing agency “Cut the Rope” (Playcom) was founded at the beginning of 2013 and represented the interests of the “Cut the Rope” brand in Russia an the CIS. The puzzle/educational game for portable platforms and Internet browsers “Cut the Rope” is based on physics and intended for family fun activities and education. It was created by Zeptolab, a Russian developer of products for handheld devices. As of today, the game has been installed more that 600 million times all over the world, with more than 35 million times in Russia.

Exhibition participants will have a chance to learn about Angry Birds (presented by Megalicense) - the star of the Apple Store and Android Market – the brand that lends itself to clothing, toys, books, sodas and bank cards.

Another popular brand that has entered our lives from the tablet screens is the “Talking Tom”, presented by Icon Promotions, an integrated licensing agency. Extensive experience in licensing and office administration since 1994. Talking Tom & Friends” is a series of entertaining interactive apps for IOS and Android that are phenomenally popular in Russia. Stuffed animals and school supplies with the image of the very popular Tom are already offered for sale.
