After having sold the TV rights to Zapp/Zappelin (Belgium) and Ketnet (The Netherlands), m4e’s “Tip the Mouse” makes the next step into the Benelux market.

The new “Tip the Mouse” TV-series is making its way into Benelux. The Dutch brand licensing agency License Connection will represent the well-known preschool brand (Dutch title: “Tip de Muis”) in the Benelux territories. Shortly before, German brand management and media company m4e AG has closed broadcasting deals for the TV series (52 x 7 minutes) with NPO’s children’s blocks Zapp/Zappelin for The Netherlands and with flemish VRT and its kids channel Ketnet. The home entertainmnet rights for the Benelux market were acquired by Just Bridge Entertainment.

I am proud to have signed the rights for this highly promising franchise for the Benelux market and look forward to building up the ‘Tip the Mouse’ brand in the coming years. I truly look forward to working together with m4e AG on making this success possible!” says Daphne Kellerman, managing director of License Connection.

The 52 episodes of the TV series are currently produced by m4e, Studio Bozzetto & Co., Giunti Editore and Rai Fiction. They will be ready for delivery in fall 2014. The series “Tip the Mouse” is based on the children’s internationally renown and popular children’s books of the same name by Italian author Andrea Dami. More than four million books have already been sold worldwide. In the Netherlands, the books were released under the local title “Tip de Muis”.

Also in Germany the brand is a big success under the German title “Leo Lausemaus”, with various licensees already on board for the TV series, incl. Simba Dickie Group (toys & games), Vivid (plush), Lingen Verlag (publishing), Panini (magazine) or Universum Film (DVD & audio story telling) on board.
