100 Media Scoops Two Awards at LIMA – Germany – Awards 2013

Studio 100, the leading global family entertainment company, is delighted to announce that Studio 100 Media, the German entity of the Studio 100 Group, has picked up two major awards at this week’s LIMA Awards in Munich.

The German LIMA Awards, a highlight of the Licensing Market, in which the industry honors the ‘best of the best’, saw Studio 100 Media awarded with Licensing Agency of the Year and Licensing Brand of the Year for Maya the Bee.

Studio 100 is proud to establish itself against other leading entertainment companies in the industry.

A further five categories were awarded on the evening including:

Trade Partner of the Year: Müller
Licensee of the Year: Egmont Ehapa
Promotion of the Year: Mc Donald´s reading hits, Books in Happy Meal

In 2014, following the global success of Studio 100’s CGI animation series Maya the Bee, a feature film Maya the Bee - Movie in stereoscopic 3D - co-produced by Studio 100 Media and Flying Bark Productions.- will be launching in cinemas, giving children and their parents the chance to see their favourite TV character on the big screen.
