DIESEL Launches New DC Comics Super Hero - Inspired Intimate Collection Based On The Classic 1966 Batman Television Series Warner Bros. Consumer Products - August 2013

 
Warner Bros. Consumer Products EMEA is proud to announce the launch of a new DC Comics Super Heroes intimate collection from Diesel.

Underwear that is so stylish it demands to be worn over your trousers, collection is inspired by the classic 1966 Batman television series, the broadcast sensation that starred Adam West as the Caped Crusader and transformed Batman into an icon of popular culture. Available now at retail across Europe, the collection has a distinctively retro feel which is reflective of the pop art style of the show that featured the original crime fighting duo who stopped at nothing to defend Gotham City from the most notorious villains. Through the clever use of colour and images of the heroes and rogues that featured in the series including Batman, Robin, The Joker and Penguin, Diesel has created another must-have collection for all fashion conscious comic book fans – KA-POW!

BATMAN COMIC BOXER
The character of Batman is created after the classic TV series of the 60’s. The boxer, inspired by the colourful comics of that time, is realized with a colour blocking technique and contrasting white stitching, and the classic Diesel waistband featuring a denim effect. The iconic Batman logo on the back is involving and says “... What are you doing guys?”

BATMOBILE BOXER
Riding fast and adventurous as in the Batmobile. The boxer is printed with movie frames of Batman and Robin's complicity. Black and white photo versus coloured images alternate and match with the waistband that recalls the details of the hood of the Batmobile.

BATMAN CLIMBING BOXER
Super heroes climb to reach a guaranteed victory. A vintage mirror printing on the left and right side of the boxer on a white base, picture Batman and his young assistant climbing up a rope to defeat the enemies. Joker and Penguin's faces are impressed in the waistband through a jacquard technique. A black contrasting binding completes the sample.

BATMAN ENEMIES BOXER
Classic villains give life to incredible challenges. An allover pattern of Batman’s enemies, Penguin, Catwoman and Joker are printed on the boxer where black and white shades interact with hints of fluo. An allover Diesel logo waistband with a grey denim effect is combined with the binding on the front.
