Potato Man – A card game for major fun

Zoch-Verlag - June 2013

Now what’s that German saying? “The dumbest farmers ...”

The dumbest farmers often have the biggest potatoes”, as the old German saying goes – meaning: Fortune favours fools. Superhero “Potato Man”, however, is determined to prove them wrong. The superhero of Zoch’s first trick-taking game shows how it works. He rushes to the playing field and helps even the littlest spud to snatch a victory. As a superhero Potato Man provides loads of fun when winning all potato sack tricks.

Potato Man” is an original card game with totally new features – and nobody gets time to rest. The game contains four different potato varieties in different colours and sizes. Just like the real thing: Large genetically modified potatoes easily out-do the tasty table potatoes – if it wasn’t for Potato Man: The smaller spuds fill the most valuable sacks. You do not have to follow suit when playing your card. In fact, every one has to play a different colour. Win most tightly filled potato sacks and win the game!

The hilarious game play attracts the whole family – aged 10+ - to the gaming table. Designer-duo Günter Burkhardt and Wolfgang Lehmann stage an unusual interactive card game – combined with 1970s retro illustrations by down-to-earth graphic artist Victor Boden. New by Zoch: The pocket-sized card box that makes the game a perfect little gift.
