With Brand Licensing Europe 2012 (BLE) just two weeks away, LIMA (www.licensing.org) is promising to share the secrets for getting the best out of trade shows with an unmissable webinar on 3rd October from 5.00pm – 6.30pm GMT. The webinar is being presented by Ian Downes of leading independent UK licensing agency, Start Licensing, alongside LIMA UK's Managing Director, Kelvyn Gardner. It will offer invaluable advice for both exhibitors and attendees and will be suitable for small and big budgets alike. Following the talk, there will be an opportunity for participants to ask their own questions. Topics will include: how to attract footfall, the pros and cons of appointments versus walk-ons, how to pitch yourself, deals or discussions and post-show follow ups. The presenters will also talk about the wider show experience – what to present and what to hand over, using resources like the press office and show dailies, how to get the best out of networking opportunities and why you should be there until the very last day. Tips for what’s new and noteworthy for BLE 2012 will also feature. Kelvyn Gardner, Managing Director of LIMA UK, comments, “It’s more important than ever for companies to justify their investment at trade shows. We know that people are particularly busy ahead of BLE, so we hope that the webinar format will suit most people. You will definitely learn something new – even if you are an old hand at exhibiting.” The event forms part of LIMA’s webinar schedule which aims to inform and educate companies about different aspects of licensing and the very latest thinking on current topics. The content is deliberately designed to be suitable for UK as well as US participants and is always interactive. LIMA Webinars are free to current members (see website for non-member costs). For pre-bookings or questions please log onto the LIMA website at www.licensing.org and register for your chosen webinar. LIMA is exhibiting at BLE – do visit us at stand A080. |
