CLASIKALETET acquires DVD rights for VIPO 2 in Israel
Globe Edutainment has closed a home entertainment license agreement for the 2nd TV series “Surviving Time Island with VIPO & Friends” with Clasikaletet Limited, an Israeli DVD distributor specialised in children’s titles. The rights are granted in Hebrew language for Israel on exclusive basis for DVD and on non-exclusive basis for VoD. The launch of the four DVD titles is scheduled for July 2012. The 2nd VIPO TV series is currently being broadcast on the popular Israeli “Kids Channel”. |

Dino Toys signs License Agreement for VIPO puzzles, games and more
Czech company DINO TOYS s.r.o. signed a License Agreement for several products using the VIPO brand, such as puzzles, children's card games and board games, as well as wooden picture cubes. The items will be launched in September, parallel to the start of the TV-broadcast on Barrandov TV. The agreement was mediated by Merchandising Prague s.r.o., VIPO Land's Czech Licensing Representative, and was signed for Czech Republic and Slovakia on exclusive basis and for Hungary and the Baltic States on non-exclusive basis. |

VIPO makes appearance at Carousel channel celebration in Russia
VIPO made a personal appearance on June 1st at the celebration of “Carousel” channel in Russia. The event was connected to World Children’s Day, took place in the Russian Exhibition Centre in Moscow and attracted more than 175,000 people. Young guests at the VIPO tent were entertained by animators with playing, dancing, quizzes and contents to win prices. Everyone received a balloon and pictures could be taken with VIPO. Carousel channel acquired both VIPO TV series for the CIS countries in the past. The event was co-organised by All Media Content & Licensing, Globe Edutainment’s agency for the VIPO brand in Russia. |

VIPO interactive books now available on iPads
Globe Edutainment recently developed brand new Apps for children, related to the TV series of "VIPO Adventures of the Flying Dog". Nine interactive books, in English Language, are already available in the iTunes App Store. More titles will follow soon to complete the 26 stories. In addition further Apps, related the the 2nd TV series "Surviving Time Island with VIPO & Friends" as well as adaptations to other languages are in preparation.
The VIPO interactive books offer several interesting features, such as a self-recording function, additional educational information related to the story or video sequences from the original TV series. |
