FremantleMedia Enterprises (FME) has signed a new deal with REVIEW Fourteen for the super cute French bulldog, Rebecca Bonbon.

The deal will see REVIEW Fourteen launch a range of Rebecca Bonbon branded apparel for girls in the European stores of Peek & Cloppenburg. T-Shirts and long sleeve tops will be available in 72 stores across Germany, Belgium, Austria and the Netherlands, supported by point of sale activity including competitions and giveaways.

Diana M Dieckmann, FME’s Vice President, Licensing for Germany, Eastern, Central & Southern Europe, said, “Through the great presence in the Peek & Cloppenburg stores REVIEW Fourteen is the perfect partner for Rebecca Bonbon, the world’s most stylish French bulldog and an emerging fashion brand in her own right. We look forward to a successful launch.”

Rebecca Bonbon is the hugely popular Japanese character created by the original Hello Kitty™ designer Yuko Shimizu. The adorable French bulldog and fashionista from Paris currently resides in a plush NYC apartment overlooking Central Park. She lives a charmed life, with her days spent showcasing her chic outfits whilst walking through the park, shopping, and picnicking with friends. She loves all things sweet, especially bonbons, which is how she came to be affectionately known as Rebecca Bonbon.

FME has exclusively represented Rebecca Bonbon globally (excluding Japan and Korea) on behalf of Crown Creative since 2008. Across EMEA Rebecca Bonbon has more than 25 licensees creating branded products such as apparel, jewellery, bags, stationery, bedding, blankets, credit card holders, mobile covers, home decorations and accessories. In Germany licensees for the brand include Goldbuch for stationery, OTTO for apparel for young women 14+, Reinders Posters for home decoration, Trend Import for accessories, stationery and home textiles and Avenir Telecom for mobile covers. In France, gifts and accessories company Alpa produce more than 60,000 branded Rebecca Bonbon products; the Leomil Group create branded footwear and various apparel; and French retailer MOA signed a deal to stock Rebecca Bonbon jewellery and accessories across their EMEA-wide network of stores.
