Art Impressions Appoints New Skelanimals Licensees And Agents

Skelanimals, the quirky and fun teen lifestyle brand known for its lovable skeleton animal characters, is about to expand its foothold in key international markets with the appointment of two new licensing agencies, it was announced by Cindy Bailey, CEO of Art Impressions.

Art Impressions has appointed Starbright Srl (www.starbright.it ), headed by Giada Paterlini, to represent the brand throughout Italy. “Starbright’s portfolio of both mainstream and pop-culture brand gives this agency a unique perspective on how to full develop a specialty, lifestyle brand such as Skelanimals,” says Bailey.

For Germany, Austria and Switzerland, Art Impressions has appointed Team! Licensing (www.teamlicensing.de), managed by licensing veterans Katrina Dietrich and Gerold Kolenbrander, to expand the brand’s presence throughout the region.

Skelanimals are really cool. We have been following their international success story and are excited to be working with them. We are planning to introduce new lines of products, reflecting the actual color and fashion trends whereby we maintain Skelanimals’ characteristic look,” says Katarina Dietrich, CEO of Team! Licensing.

Dream Theatre has been appointed to serve as the Skelanimals agent throughout India.

Art Impressions and its agents have recently make a number of significant new partnerships for the brand including Carel for apparel and nightwear in France, RCL for electronics and computer accessories in South America and Targmex for a range of school bags, totes and mobile accessories to be launched in Mexico.

In the U.S., the brand recently released the all-new Skelanimals DC Heroes, a collaboration between licensee Toynami and Warner Bros.’ DC Comics that is generating a lot of buzz. Featuring best-selling Skelanimals characters disguised as Superman, Batman and other classic characters, Skelanimals DC Heroes are available in beanie, Deluxe and clip-on plush, and will be on shelves in February.
