Crufts Top Dogs App Launches!

4sight licensing solutions, licensing agent for the Kennel Club and Crufts, has announced that Crufts Top Dogs – an iPhone app based on the famous dog show – is now available for download.

 

Crufts is the world’s most popular dog show - 138,000 people attended this year’s 120th anniversary event and More4’s TV coverage saw audiences up almost 50% on the previous year. The show is hosted each year by the Kennel Club, which is the largest organisation in the UK that is specifically dedicated to the health and welfare of dogs, with a broad remit to protect and promote their general wellbeing. At its heart are programmes and investments in education and health initiatives to ensure that dogs are healthy, happy and long-lived.

The new app has been developed by mobile content specialist RevelMob and is based on the hit card game Top Trumps – in this version you can play against the iPhone to match your digital cards and see who wins the battle of the breeds, pitting Boxers against Bulldogs, Golden Retrievers against German Shepherds, and Pugs against Whippets. The app is free to download and RevelMob is currently working on additional content that will include more breeds, multi-players modes and worldwide rankings.

This is the latest addition to the Crufts app family as RevelMob has already developed Crufts Vintage, which allows iPhone users to see more than 100 unique and beautiful images from the Crufts archives.

In addition to digital content the Kennel Club and Crufts are also represented across a host of other categories, including dog bedding and accessories, branded pet tags, publishing, greetings, collectibles, home furnishings, and prints and canvasses.
