Founded in 1995, Milan based Medusa is at the top of the Italian home entertainment film market and previous launched the Gormiti Series DVD, Gormiti - The Lords of Nature Return. Following that DVD’s success, the firm will now follow up with a second DVD series, Gormiti - The Supreme Eclipse Era, which will be available from 2012.
Speaking of the agreement, Graziano Delmaestro commented: “Boys in Italy love Gormiti and the natural progression from the watching the episodes on TV, is to be able to watch them when desired on DVD. We are therefore delighted to be working with Medusa again on creating this second DVD series; especially after their great work on successfully launching the first.”
Further commenting, Luciana Migliavacca from Medusa said: “It is good for us to enhance our portfolio of home entertainment DVDs with properties that appeal directly to our market. Gormiti is perfect for this as it is perennially popular with our younger male audience and so we are excited to be working with Giochi Preziosi again on creating this new package for the great number of Gormiti fans.”
