8-Week Collectible Sticker Promotion Teaches Children about the Jungle and the Animals who Live There

Atlantyca Entertainment is partnering with international grocery retailer, Despar, and Italy’s foremost environmentalist group, Legambiente, to launch a national Geronimo Stilton Stickermania Promotion at grocery stores in Italy. The deal has made by Rachele Geraci, Atlantyca’s Licensing and Agent Manager.

Designed to teach children about rainforests and the animals who live there, the promotion includes a collectible Geronimo Stilton Classic Sticker Album featuring Italy’s most famous mouse-author in adventure outfit and individual sets of stickers depicting many of the forests creatures.

The eight-week promotion launched September 19, 2011 in over 400 Despar stores throughout North-East part of Italy, Emilia, Toscana, Umbria and Viterbo.

“We are thrilled to be working with Despar and Legambiente, and proud to have Geronimo Stilton join in this group effort to educate children about the fragile ecology of our planet, its jungles and inhabitants,” said Geraci. “As one of Italy’s best known characters among children, Geronimo is the perfect ambassador to deliver this all-important educational campaign to our youth.”

Launched in 2000 by leading Italian publisher Edizioni Piemme through a series of children’s books, Geronimo Stilton is a famous Mouse-author -newspaper editor who writes amusing adventures steeped in suspense and healthy values for children the world over.
