Imira Entertainment, Spain’s leading production and distribution company specialising in youth programming, has underscored its position as a preeminent distributor in the region signing further deals across its slate of third-party animation and live action.
In Spain, Imira has scored a major deal with Canal Panda España: the Pay TV channel has acquired seven shows from its slate including Millimages’ quintet: Bugged (52X7´), Corneil & Bernie (52X13´), Hilltop Hospital (52X11´), Monk (52X3´) and The Gnoufs (52X13´), Pororo (52X7´) from Iconix and live action Wicked Science (52X26´) produced by Jonathan M. Shiff Productions, FFC, Film Victoria, Network Ten and ZDF Enterprises.
Also in the territory, Free TV channel Euskal Telebista has acquired Monk and Bugged for the Basque country, while in Portugal Canal Panda has picked up Wicked Science for Pay TV.
